Here at Cog media we like to pay it back when we can. One of those opportunities arose this month. The eighteenth century building my partner lives in has its 250 anniversary approaching… so when “we need a logo” was mentioned I jumped at the chance and offered to help out with the anniversary commemorations.
During the first commemorative committee meeting an idea sprang into my mind I thought would purvey the feel of the event. a 3D model of the front facade of St Georges textured to look like the original plans and drawings for the building. Its always dangerous to put all your eggs in one basket but something just felt right with the idea I had in mind…
Proofing the logo design concept
So I set about creating the 3D elements that would become the a drawing faces of the 250 year old building. Photoshopping master window templates to allow for dummy textures to be create proof of concept to myself before pitched it to the committee.
