As a designer I’m no stranger to getting clients business cards printed. Here are COG media we use the full suite of Adobe tools to produce the highest quality end results based on you budget, but every now and then we get asked to print a set of business cards with no print files available. Last night was one of those cases. With just a WhatsApp message image to go on a good friend wanted to know if we could help.
I need some business cards…
… but I don’t have any artwork. We took the sent image and squared it up in Photoshop and set about recreating the logo. Over to Adobe Illustrator, as part of the logo was a none standard font we used the tools in Illustrator to get us close to the typeface. Hand tweaking the curves we soon had a usable print ready logo. Over to Adobe InDesign to create the print ready artwork. Dropping in the rest of the copy, making the tweaks asked for by the client we were ready to go to print. All part of the service we offer here at COG media.Business Card Design
